Who is behind UNIFY?

UNIFY is a joint venture between Unified, and The Hills Are Alive. After two amazing festivals the team at UNIFY are super excited to be bringing you the third instalment. You can read more about our companies here

Where is UNIFY held?

UNIFY is held in a town called Tarwin Lower, which is in South Gippsland, about two hours South-East from Melbourne. The drive down is beautiful and extremely easy to find. Click here for a map to the site.

When do gates open?

The gate(s) to UNIFY will open at 12noon on Friday 13th January and close at 4pm Sunday 15th January.

When does the Arena open?

Friday 13th - 2pm to 2am Sat morning
Saturday 14th - 8am to 2am Sun Morning
Sunday 15th - 8am to 2pm

I don’t have a car, how can I get to the site?

Limited BUS tickets are currently available via 24HUNDRED.net and details are below.

PLEASE NOTE: the BUS will only be operating from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne VICTORIA (Centre of Melbourne city). You must make your own way to and from the station.

We suggest dropping by our Facebook group and leave a message to find people willing to carpool their way to the site. UNIFY is all about community, so we encourage people to help each other out with getting there. Plus, car-pooling is better for the environment!

Bus Details

Departure: Southern Cross Station, MELBOURNE VICTORIA - Fri 13th Jan @ 9:30am
NOTE: MUST report to bus terminal @ 9:00am
Arrival: UNIFY Event Site, @ approx. 11:45am

Return: UNIFY Car Park - Sun 15th Jan @ 3:00pm
NOTE: MUST report to bus stop in the carpark @ 2:30pm
Arrival: Southern Cross Station, MELB @ approx. 5:00pm

NOTE 1: bus terminal # at Southern Cross Station to be confirmed closer to departure, this will be communicated to Bus ticket holders via email closer to the event.

NOTE 2: Anyone who has purchased bus tickets will be emailed with more specific departure instructions in the lead up to the event. If you have bought more than one ticket (Ie. For a friend) please make sure you arrive together as only the ticket buyers name and quantity of tickets bought will be recorded on the bus list.

How many people will come to UNIFY?

There is strictly only 7,500 tickets available for UNIFY 2017. The last two events SOLD OUT ahead of time, so get in quick.

Are there any age restrictions at UNIFY?

Yes, UNIFY is strictly 18+ with no exceptions.

Is UNIFY a BYO event?

Yes, you can bring your own drinks into the campsite area but not into the arena area. In the arena we have awesome bars serving beer, spirits and cocktails at very reasonable prices (please note, alcohol cannot be taken into or out of the arena area)

DO NOT bring glass! Eskys and bags searches will take place before entering the campsite. Any glass will be confiscated and you will lose the contents, this includes 'salsa'. Hot tip: pour your liquor into plastic bottles before leave home ;)

Is there food available on site?

Yes, we will have a great selection of food trucks available, including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. If on the off chance you have to queue during the event, think of it as a chance to meet new friends!

Will there be good coffee available on site?

Yes, barista made coffee will be available - most definitely on Sunday morning

Is UNIFY a camping festival? And how will this run?

YES, UNIFY is a camping festival.

Camp site OPENS at 12noon on Friday 13th Jan and CLOSES at 4pm Sunday 15th Jan.

Upon arriving at the site on Friday, January 13, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will show you where to park. From there, it is a short walk to the camping area. The area has plenty of room for everyone, and it will be first-in, best-dressed in terms of where you camp.

The first band will start at approximately 2:20pm Friday so you will have plenty of time to get set up.

Can I set my tent up next to my car?

STRICTLY NO camping in the carpark. Security will be patrolling the carpark day and night to move anyone into the campsite that is trying to set up camp in the carpark.

Can I sleep in my car/campervan?

As above, Security will be patrolling the carpark day and night to move anyone into the campsite that is trying to set up camp in the carpark.

Can I bring a COUCH to UNIFY?

NO unfortunately.

Can I move between the campground and the car-park?

Yes and No. You can move between the campground and the car-park during daylight hours ONLY (between 8am to 8pm). After sunset you must remain in the campground/arena areas.

Are pass-outs available?

No, once you enter the event carpark there will be no pass outs available. The car MUST stay stationary until the conclusion of the event. If you decide to leave the event carpark early you will not be allowed to re-enter the car park or the event. Make sure you bring plenty of $$, food, drinks, appropriate clothing and camping equipment for the entire event. With all the awesome music going on at UNIFY we’re confident you won’t want to leave anyway!

Can I leave on Friday / Saturday night?

If you wish to leave the event on either night, your wristbands will be cut by security and given to you as a memento. You will not be able to re-enter the event.

Are there any ATM's at the event?

No. Make sure you bring enough cash with you for the entire event. There will be heaps of awesome merch items for sale as well as great food and drinks available for purchase.

Will there be phone charging available?

Yep, phone charging will be supplied by CHARGE SPOT in the campsite and arena areas. Go to chargespot.com.au/prebookings to pre-book discounted charging now!

Can I leave early on the Sunday morning?

Yes, you can leave anytime you like, however please remember that there are no pass-outs so once you leave you cannot re-enter.

What CAN’T I bring to UNIFY?

Apart from the obvious illegal things, you CANNOT bring:
- Glass of any kind (Bottles, Jars etc)
- Gas Bottles, BBQs or cooking devices of any kind (Triangas, nitros bulbs etc)
- Dogs or pets of any kind, unfortunately
- Generators
- Fireworks or Flares
- Fire Sticks & Poy
- Kegs of any kind
- NO Candles, campfires or fires of any kind
- NO Handheld lasers
- NO Selfie sticks 
- NO Weapons of any kind (we don’t actually need to list that, do we?)
- and MOST of all no bad vibes or arrogant attitudes!

Will there be showers at this year's event?

This year at UNIFY we will be offering HOT and COLD showers.

All showers to operate between 7am and 12noon SAT & SUN

COLD sprinkler style showers will be available for FREE/Gold Coin Donation.
- Sprinkler rigged up and monitored by Vollie - See pic HERE for an example of what they will be like.

HOT showers will be available in the Football Club change rooms (Volunteer HQ) for $20 ($10 donation to the footy club) 
- A token will need to be purchased from the Merchandise Desk inside the ARENA area.

Will there be disabled toilets at the festival?

Yes! We have disabled toilets both in the Arena, and in the campsite. The 'Arena' toilet is located near the entrance archway, and the ‘Campsite' toilet is accessible via the ‘Tarwin Sharks’ Club Rooms (Please speak to our friendly staff or security for access and assistance.)

Will there be a viewing platform for those in wheelchairs?

Yes! There will be a viewing platform for those guests who require it and will be located near the VIP Bar.
